Min’s discernment, love of God’s Word and deep understanding of Charlotte Mason’s philosophy, have provided a light to me in this often confusing and foggy world of parenting.  With such grace and hope, she has given me advice and wisdom which has helped me to navigate some of the toughest situations as I guide my children through life and homeschooling.  I am so blessed to call Min my mentor and to watch and glean as she so beautifully homeschools her children.  I truly hope that every mother will take advantage of the teaching she offers!

Getting to know Min and being part of her CM ministry was one of the most important milestones [of my life]… I can’t remember how many times I’m caught amazed that Min allowed me to see clearly how the scriptures should be acting out in real life. Here are just a couple:

(1) ”Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, … They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.“ ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬-‭5‬. Min has set up such a great example for the younger women (even some older, but less experienced) to share and lead… She allowed her home to be a place hospitable by training her children to help, being resourceful to other women, and, most importantly, a home with a peaceful and loving atmosphere.

(2) ”Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it—when you have it with you.“ ‭‭Prov.3‬:‭27‬-‭28‬. There are times when she saw other sisters in need, those who have financial difficulties, gifts to bless a sister as an encouragement, birthdays, loss of family members, etc. Indeed, I seem to see that God is opening the heavenly stores to those who do not withhold goodness from giving to others. Min is a woman of blessings, faith, and courage.

Min has always helped moms understand the Way of the Will in a practical and tangible way, and understand how this is our work in raising our children - to strengthen their Will, but we can’t do that unless we have a definite plan, an end in view, and most importantly, unless we start with ourselves, surrendering our whole selves to the Lord: mind, body and soul.

To me, one of the things that oozes from Min is how we moms can have a strong and healthy Will to help our children, family, and the community.

Min has a gift to encourage, to give tools to reflect, implement, track progress, assess, and make adjustments.

How blessed I am to have Min as a friend and mentor!

Min, I was just reflecting today as we have finished up our second term and I am soooo thankful for you introducing me to Charlotte Mason. Thank you for the many workshops and book clubs and co-ops that you so obediently and sacrificially put together. Thank you for the tools and the explanations and for sharing the joy and beauty of the feast with me. I am so thankful that God used Charlotte Mason to bring about such a beautiful method of education and thankful that God used you to introduce it to me. Your planted seed is producing fruit in our home and family! And though I know I still have a ways to go to fully understand and implement all the things, I know I do it with the help of the Indefatigable Teacher. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for being His willing vessel. ❤️
